(The Author and Publisher Caution You to Read Them)

Warning #1: This book is nonfiction. The words and actions attributed to God, Jesus, holy angels, Satan, demons, and humans ARE THEIR OWN WORDS AND ACTIONS.

Warning #2: This book provides a detailed case history of demon possession in the life of one woman, as well as other supplementary accounts and information. This information is provided solely for the spiritual edification of the reader. The author and publisher do not purport to diagnose any disorder, nor do they recommend any specific actions be taken based on any information contained within. The reader is solely responsible for any actions they may take.

Warning #3: This book contains detailed accounts of some of the author's spiritual interventions against the demons so that the reader may more fully empathize with the inherent difficulties of the undertaking for both victim and intercessor. However, the reader is cautioned to NEVER DIRECTLY CONFRONT A DEMON, NOR ATTEMPT TO REPLICATE ANY OF THE DEMON-FIGHTING TECHNIQUES DESCRIBED WITHIN. The reader will not become an expert in dealing with demons merely by reading this book. Remember, however, that nonconfrontational prayer is always appropriate and is a peaceful weapon of great power and effectiveness.

------------> A central theme of this book is the great challenge of differentiating problems that are caused by demons versus those with earthly or unknown causes. Consider:

Warning #4: Statistically speaking, more people have problems that are of earthly origin, rather than demonic origin. The (approximate) incidence of demon possession of any given severity in the general U.S. population is currently 8% (33% worldwide). Half of these are severely possessed. The U.S. percentage is lower than the world percentage because of the relatively higher numbers of believers in God and Jesus in the U.S. relative to the world as a whole. Therefore, statistically speaking, for the general U.S. population, it is usually best to rule out earthly causes to problems first because they are more probable for any given individual. Do not attempt to diagnose yourself or others. Seek the assistance of competent medical, mental health, or other expert, earthly professionals. Exhaust all earthly advice and remedies before possibly considering alternative explanations.

Warning #5: Should the reader ever decide to consult an expert on demonic possession or demonic influence, use extreme caution in selecting that expert. True experts are exceedingly rare. The central characteristic of all true experts on demons is a strong belief and faith in the God and Jesus of the Holy Bible, and the sole use of that belief and faith to combat the demons. Using anything else against demons would both fail and be dangerous to those involved.

Warning #6: This book is not intended to be an exhaustive recital of all material available to the author; it has been greatly condensed and simplified to make it more easily accessible to the reader. Always assume that many details were necessarily left out. Also, of the material that was included, the author cannot possibly clarify all possible ambiguities and dispel all possible misconceptions that might arise. Therefore, use this book only as a general guide to the subject matter and not as the sole source of information available. The reader is strongly encouraged to read the Holy Bible for a more complete understanding of the material within.
